The Scrad System is suitable for extremely fine sanding.
The Scrad System consists of a thin (10mm) Pad with a triangular shaped piece of sandpaper attached. it is perfect for keying a surface before overcoating and does not clog. Where to use it?

Final finishing of bare wood. To reduce grain raising / give a well-bodied finish and an even level of sanding across the whole floor. Between coats of lacquer – to cut back raised grain / remove dust etc. In the finish, if necessary. To prepare refinished / previously finished floors prior to lacquer application.

WHY?

• Extremely smooth finish
• Minimal risk of visible sanding marks
• Very cost effective in comparisons to sanding screens
• Minimal creation of dust.

• Scrad Pad – 200 – 399 M ²
• Scrad Wing – 25 - 50 M ²
• Coverage is depending upon both the substrate and the application

Key Points

• Should not be used for the removal of lacquer of sanding floors to bare wood but for the final preparation of 120no. Grade sanded floors or lacquered surfaces.
• For the best results the scrad sould be used both along and across the floor during each stage of the preparation of the floor.
• For the optimum performance the scrad pads must be cleaned regularly and the wings replaced frequently.
• Prior to the application of the Bona Lacquer the floor must be thoroughly cleaned.
