We can supply an oil or a lacquer for your wood worktops to colour them to your needs. The oak worktops can be changed to almost any colour of your choice with our range of colour oils - from white, red or black - whatever your colour preference you can stain the wood worktops to your taste.

The maintenance of wood worktops is very simple and oak worktops can last a lifetime if cared for properly. Regular oiling is required for keeping moisture and germs out which can be applied quickly and conveniently with a cloth. Any marks, dents or knife cuts can be removed by simply sanding down the area and re-oiling. As the oak worktops are made from solid wood you can sand these down time and time again to give that "just fitted" worktop look.

Iroko is a stable, solid, heavy timber from Africa, similar to teak. It is naturally oily so has a head start for the maintenance programme. It starts pale brown but deepens quite quickly to a rich brown. Often used as a contrasting wood to compliment paler cabinets or floor.
